Maurer & Wirtz 4711 Original Eau de Cologne Eau de Cologne

Ordered on the 12th. Received it yesterday, the 19th. I understand how we fit into the designated "3-5" _working_ days (out of the 7 days of delivery, 2 are weekends, although Nova Poshta works), but this is, of course, okay for attentive buyers. Most people will just see "3-5 days" and then have problems. Why not write "delivery in 5-7 days"? Well, in this case, I had a couple of extra days, but what if a person is leaving? Or if the order is needed for a specific date, like a birthday? Delivery in Ukraine is still fast, so there are no complaints here, it's not about military actions.

As for the product. Well, it's mediocre... Someone even compared 4711 to Allegoria Neroli from Guerlain - 4711 doesn't even come close. Zero longevity. Even compared to eau de colognes: Acqua di Parma cologne lasts for exactly 2 hours, if not 3, this water lasts for half an hour.

You can safely skip the pyramid - it's not there. There is a characteristic eau de cologne note, plus a floral-sour-soapy scent if you smell the skin immediately after application. Pleasant, but not long-lasting. I expected more, I won't return to this brand.

Citrus-floral fragrance. At first, there is a bright fresh bergamot, followed by hints of rose and rosemary. Without any chemical notes. All of this lasts for about five minutes. Then there is a barely noticeable hint of neroli on the skin. Perfect as an aftershave product, but completely useless as a perfume. If I hadn't bought it in Vienna, I would have considered it a fake. For aftershave use, it is better to buy the matching lotion.

The scent is simply amazing.
I am a fan of organic products and cosmetics (certified natural cosmetics and products).
But this cologne is just magic.
Those who write about "old-fashioned" obviously like Adidas and the like.
The scent of the cologne is multifaceted, in my opinion, you can smell Neroli and something else.
I recommend it.

Quite an interesting cologne. I became interested in buying it after it was mentioned in a book. I bought it randomly. The scent is quite interesting, unisex, but not suitable for all girls. I perceive it differently at different times. The first time I was disappointed - it was a very strong cologne. But then I got used to it. For me, it mostly smells like citrus and some flowers with a hint of bitterness (possibly jasmine), vetiver, patchouli, and sandalwood. I don't feel any rose or melon at all. It's quite sharp, spicy, direct, not very feminine. The longevity is not great, around 1.5-2 hours, but it's a cologne, not a perfume. The bottle is luxurious.

I ordered 25ml from the EU. I really wanted it in this cute little bottle, as there are 25ml in the standard one... A small cute bottle for the collection.... Too bad it comes without a box, but I'm still satisfied! Thank you. The photo didn't turn out very well....

For me, only one note opened up))) and that is neroli! The longevity is over 2 hours, and it is very interesting what could be in the scent of 1792, why it still exists! All because it is beautiful. I got a set with wipes and I am delighted with the purchase! And also very fast delivery! Thank you, beloved Make up.

I ordered this for my boyfriend because he really liked the bottle design. He likes retro designs. It was a bit disappointing that the 100ml bottle came without packaging, so it doesn't look very presentable as a gift. That's why I deducted one star. As for the make-up, I have no complaints. The website always works at the highest level. I've been ordering here for years and don't plan to stop. This is more of a question for the manufacturer. The cologne itself in the bottle has a very strong scent. Personally, it smells like cloves and lemon zest to me. However, after applying it to the skin, the scent immediately changes and becomes very fresh and pleasant. It's hard to compare it to any well-known perfumes, it smells more like a freshly scented scrub and perfumed soap on the skin. As for the longevity of the cologne, it is excellent. It lasts for several hours on the skin.

The smell is indeed fresh, but too bitter, especially from the first notes. Even though I have half of my unisex perfumes with citrus and wood, this scent is still more masculine due to its strong bitterness. I consider it a retro scent, not modern at all. As mentioned below, it is truly a classic! Like most colognes, it is not long-lasting. After 15 minutes, you already need to sniff very closely, and after 30 minutes, I can't smell anything at all.

First of all, thanks to the store, they did a great job. Now about the water. Classic Cologne water. That's enough to understand this cologne. It is not long-lasting at all. The scent changes notes. It completely fades away in a couple of hours. It's fresh. The younger generation didn't appreciate it. Just a classic Cologne water in the best traditions.

The smell is good, but not long-lasting. I liked it. It reminds me of O DE LANCOME in some way.
