The specialists at MeLuna have developed the Sport Menstrual Cups for women who are actively involved in sports and understand the importance of having reliable protection during their period. Certain types of sports and exercises can affect the pelvic floor muscles, and the Sport Menstrual Cup is specifically designed for such situations. The M size is suitable for women with light to moderate flow, who usually use regular tampons or occasionally need larger tampons, whether they have given birth or not, but do not require large tampons. It offers a proven and convenient way to ensure confident protection and comfort during physical activity. Regardless of the level of activity, this product helps you stay on top of your game, even during the most demanding periods.
Features of the MeLuna Sport Menstrual Cup M:
- Slightly firm, providing a higher degree of tension;
- Opens even against the pressure of surrounding muscles;
- Maintains airtightness during physical exertion;
- Suitable for any body type;
- Designed for women who engage in active sports during menstruation (yoga, horseback riding, strength training, Pilates, Kegel exercises, pole dancing);
- Developed with the following parameters: maximum diameter – 41 mm, length without the handle – 48 mm, total capacity – 28 ml.-
Before first use, sterilize the cup in boiling water for 3-5 minutes. Make sure to wash your hands with soap first. Fold the cup. There are different ways to insert it – you can try various methods and choose the one that suits you best. Insert the folded cup and allow it to expand inside the vagina. After insertion, it will open with a characteristic suction or popping sound, indicating it is correctly positioned. If unsure, feel the base of the cup – it should be round or oval when inserted properly. If you detect dents or irregularities on the surface of the cup, it means it hasn’t fully expanded. Gently grasp the base of the cup (not the stem) and try to rotate it to create a seal. Lightly pull on the stem: if you feel resistance, the suction has occurred, and the cup is successfully positioned!
