The refreshing unisex fragrance was first introduced in 2013. Its creator is Jean-Claude Ellena. "I cannot imagine a scent more joyful than mandarin, and softer than amber," the perfumer described his creation. Notably, Jean-Claude is keen on painting and is a fairly good watercolorist himself. And this is not a coincidence. The fragrance is indeed like a painting, depicting sunny Italy.
This magnificent fragrance is a reworking of the classic Eau d'Orange Verte cologne (1979). It has become much warmer and contains significantly more citrus notes. Yes, the first thing that is felt is mandarin. The playful start of the fragrance continues with passion fruit and amber. This is a bright, fresh, and juicy mix, initially moreFruity, followed by a slight woody note with a clean base of amber and vanilla. The fragrance can be considered fresh and delicate. When buying it for yourself, rest assured that soon your significant other will start using it sneakily, as Hermes Eau de Mandarine Ambree leaves no one indifferent.

His time is December. How he plays with mandarins in the frost, it's simply incredible!! They burst with juice and a light hint of candy. Perfect for the New Year holidays. It doesn't sound the same in the summer.
I adore Hermes, but I'm not a big fan of this fragrance. It reminds me of my grandfather's cologne, and even my husband didn't like it! I bought it blindly based on descriptions and reviews.
For me, it is a feminine, slightly sweet mandarin fragrance that quickly transitions into a warm amber tone. It stays close to the skin and is a personal, warming scent. However, it is not long-lasting on my skin as after an hour, it is almost not noticeable.
The scent is luxurious, reminiscent of the sunny Mediterranean. It is exceptionally sexy and stimulates hormones of joy. It is the scent of happiness.
First, there is a very sweet mandarin flesh and almost immediately a lot of amber. It's somehow too sweet for a citrus scent. After about forty minutes, a hint of spiciness appears. The sweetness fades away, and mandarin zest, crushed mandarin leaf, passion fruit emerge, making the scent more interesting and individual. I like the composition's ending. The sillage is almost nonexistent :(
I wear it in winter and early spring, it's too sweet on me in hot weather. That's just the chemistry of my skin :)
When mentioning the brand Hermes, I simply melt. I adore all of its fragrances.
Bought it for my son's birthday. Very good youthful scent. Long-lasting!!!
