Before using the sponge for the first time, rinse it thoroughly. For each subsequent application of foundation or any cream-based product, soak the sponge thoroughly under warm running water. Squeeze out excess water and proceed to apply the product. For hygiene purposes, wash the sponge after each use (preferably with bar soap) and let it dry. Do not store the damp sponge in containers, drawers, bags, etc. Ensure it has direct air exposure while drying. The sponge can be disinfected with appropriate disinfectants. It is recommended to replace the sponge every six months at most.
