Always wash your hands thoroughly before handling LadyCup! Before the first use, you must sterilize LadyCup! It is recommended to insert LadyCup in one of the following positions: sitting, squatting, kneeling, or standing. Try these positions and choose the one that works best for you. To make insertion easier, wet LadyCup with water or use a water-based lubricant. Hold LadyCup between your fingers and squeeze it. Then, using the fingers of your other hand, fold LadyCup lengthwise in half.
Hold LadyCup with one hand as low as possible and insert it into the vagina at a backward angle.
The correct position of LadyCup is lower than where a tampon would sit. After inserting it into the vagina, release your fingers, allowing LadyCup to fully open and adhere to the vaginal walls. Run your finger around the rim of the cup to ensure it is properly sealed.
Empty LadyCup at least once every 12 hours, depending on the heaviness of your menstrual flow.
Always handle LadyCup with clean hands! In your chosen position (sitting, standing, etc.), locate the stem or base of LadyCup. You can help yourself by gently bearing down, which will move LadyCup slightly downwards. Squeeze the base of LadyCup and, after relaxing, carefully remove it. During the first removal, it is important to stay calm and as relaxed as possible. If you have difficulty, use your finger to break the vacuum seal by gently separating the cup's rim from the vaginal wall. This will make it easier to remove LadyCup.
Pour the contents of the cup into the toilet.
