Instructions for Using LadyCup
Ensure your hands are thoroughly washed before handling the LadyCup. Before the first use, sterilize the LadyCup. It is recommended to insert the LadyCup in one of the following positions: sitting, squatting, kneeling, or standing. Try these positions and choose the one that is most comfortable for you. For easier insertion, wet the LadyCup with water or use a water-based lubricant. Hold the LadyCup with your fingers, compress it, then fold it lengthwise using the fingers of your other hand.
Hold the LadyCup as low as possible with one hand and insert it into your vagina at a backward angle. The correct position for the LadyCup is lower than where you would place a tampon. After insertion, release your fingers, allowing the LadyCup to fully unfold and adhere to the vaginal walls. Run a finger around the cup's rim to ensure it is properly positioned and sealed.
Empty the LadyCup at least once every 12 hours, depending on the heaviness of your menstrual flow.
Always handle the LadyCup with thoroughly washed hands. In your chosen position (sitting, standing, etc.), locate the stem or base of the LadyCup. You may find it helpful to bear down slightly, which will move the LadyCup lower. Squeeze the base of the LadyCup, then, after relaxing, gently remove it. During the first removal, stay calm and relaxed. If you have difficulty, use a finger to break the vacuum seal by pushing the cup's rim away from the vaginal wall. This will make it easier to remove the LadyCup.
Pour the contents of the cup into the toilet.
