I used this hair dye at the salon and was absolutely thrilled with the result. I decided to try it at home with the Igora 3% 1:1, 6 84w oxidant, and it turned out to be a shade darker than the usual level 6 color, which is perfect for my cool chestnut hair. Although the color didn't fade much and had an incredible shine after the salon treatment, they added the tbh lotion which made them shine slightly less. Nevertheless, my hair became smooth and well-groomed immediately. The shade has a reddish undertone. I will see how it washes out in the future.
I bought the product 5.16C for myself. Since I was tired of being a blonde, I decided to go for a more natural shade. My natural hair color is something between ash blonde and dark ash blonde. After dyeing my hair with Igora 1.9% developer, I initially became very dark, but over the weeks it started to nicely fade and settled on a color that is almost like my own, just without the ashy undertone. The difference between the dyed and my natural hair is barely noticeable.
