The French company Lubin has introduced a new addition to its fragrance collection — the women's scent Princesses de Malabar. This composition was inspired by the rich spiritual world of the princesses of the Nair tribe, who live along the Malabar Coast of India. In this tribe, a matriarchy prevails, a fact that is in itself significant for modern society. Furthermore, the creators found a certain harmony in the customs of the Nairs, expressing it through a combination of floral and oriental tones that convey the beauty of Kerala's forests, filled with exotic fruit and plant scents.
The launch of Princesses de Malabar opens with notes of bergamot and cotton flowers, which precede a heart accord of white magnolias, ylang-ylang, peach pulp, and Arabian jasmine. At the base of the fragrance, one can detect hints of sweet amber, tonka beans, sandalwood, orris powder, and white musk.
