Nasal irrigation with saline water acts as a preventative measure, positively affecting the nasal mucosa by naturally cleansing it, thus making it more resistant to bacteria and viruses. It helps with nasal congestion, colds, and chronic hay fever. For individuals suffering from allergic rhinitis (triggered by pollen and dust allergies), nasal irrigation removes allergens, thereby easing the condition without causing any side effects.
This method has proven to be very effective in preventing and treating inflammation of the upper respiratory tract and sinusitis.
The saline solution has a positive effect on moisturizing the mucosa, accelerating its recovery. Nasal irrigation has proven its effectiveness during post-nasal surgery recovery, for people working in harsh conditions (in dusty environments), and for those with excessive nasal mucosa dryness.
Nasal irrigation with the Rhino Horn pitcher can help if you're experiencing nasal congestion, have a cold, suffer from frequent sinus inflammations, allergies, or hay fever.
Saline water (0.9% NaCl solution, i.e., physiological saline) at body temperature.
Using the Rhino Horn™ pitcher is simple – all you need is warm water and regular table salt.
The Rhino Horn™ pitcher is designed to allow water to flow freely from one nostril to the other by the force of gravity alone.
Rhino Horn can be used for nasal irrigation in children as young as 5 years old.
Once the practice is mastered, the entire activity takes about 1 minute, including the preparation of the solution.
Nasal irrigation with the Rhino Horn pitcher is a natural and in many cases, a successfully used alternative to conventional nasal drops and sprays.
Regular nasal irrigation with the Rhino Horn pitcher:
- acts as a preventative measure or eases the course of sinusitis,
- increases the nasal mucosa's resistance to bacterial and viral infections,
- removes dust and pollen from the nose, thereby reducing allergy symptoms,
- assists after surgical interventions,
- naturally clears the nose during a common cold,
- helps individuals suffering from dry mucous syndrome,
- May assist pregnant women experiencing changes in nasal congestion,
- Stimulates natural mechanisms for cleaning the respiratory tract.

The Rhino Horn can be used daily. In special cases, such as during periods of high allergenic pollen concentration, severe colds, or sudden sinusitis, nasal rinsing can be performed 2-4 times a day. However, in normal situations, where nasal rinsing serves for hygiene and disease prevention, once a day is sufficient.
Use one scoop of salt. Use regular salt or sea salt (NaCl); do not use salt substitutes or flavored salt. Add water. The jug should be filled completely with water at a temperature of around 37 °C, and then dissolve the salt in it. Rinse your nose. Slightly tilt your head forward, allowing the water to flow freely from one nostril to the other. Gently blow out any remaining water from your nose. The result will be a clean nose and a pleasant feeling.
