This device is designed to be used with demineralized water. You can use any commercially available demineralized water. Using other types of water will reduce the effectiveness of the device. Scale buildup is not covered under the warranty.
1. Remove the water container by pressing the two buttons at the bottom of the container and lifting it up. Once the container is removed, lift the valve and fill the container with demineralized water up to the maximum level indicated (marked "MAX") using a bottle.
2. Place the container back: insert the front edge of the container into the slot, then press the two buttons at the back and push the container into place.
3. Choose a comb suitable for your hair type and insert it into the designated slot.
4. Insert the protective plates before straightening and ensure that the protective plates are removed before curling. Make sure the plates have cooled before touching them.
5. Plug the styler into an electrical outlet.
6. Select the temperature setting according to your hair type and wait 30 seconds for the plates to reach the desired temperature.
7. Begin styling your hair as desired, ensuring the arrows on the styler point downward.
