Curasept Proxi Interdental Brushes are the best tool for cleaning between the teeth and on surfaces where a toothbrush, floss, or toothpick cannot optimally remove plaque.
The innovative and unique protective cover, placed between the handle and the bristles, prevents gum injuries, provides greater stability to the wire tip, and enhances control of the interdental brush during use. The ergonomic handle ensures a better grip and facilitates movement. The nylon (polyamide 612) fibers are extremely flexible. The ultra-thin, durable, flexible, and non-traumatic tip is designed for ease of use. The sizes of the interdental brushes are indicated on the handle.
An interdental brush is a tool that removes dental plaque from various spaces by sliding/pushing it into the space. This is why there are interdental brushes of different diameters, offering one or more sizes that can reach various spaces without damaging the gums. The sizes of interdental brushes adhere to ISO standards, which categorize interdental spaces by diameter. The diameter of the interdental brush (and hence its ISO compliance) is determined by the diameter of the metal core plus the bristles on it. The correct size of the interdental brush is when the bristles fully fill the interdental space and the tool enters the space without resistance, with slight pressure.
The Curasept Proxi Treatment series interdental brushes are size T13, which corresponds to ISO size 3 and a core diameter of 1.3 mm. The Treatment series is recommended for larger interdental spaces that arise from gum issues, misaligned teeth, or dental procedures such as crowns and implants.

Insert the interdental brush between your teeth, in the gaps between teeth, or under dental appliances. Gently move it back and forth to remove plaque and food particles. Rinse after use. Replace the brush when the bristles become worn.
