Using this serum helps combat signs of aging by smoothing wrinkles and improving epidermal texture. Gradually build tolerance to retinal by always applying it at night on cleansed facial skin.
If you are starting retinal treatment or resuming it after a long break, start with a serum containing a lower concentration of Retinal 0.06%. If your skin has higher tolerance, gradually introduce the serum with Retinal 0.15%.
Every skin type is unique. Find the intensity of use that suits you best. Begin with a small dose (2 pumps), applying it to cleansed facial and neck skin 1-2 times a week. Add one additional night each subsequent week until you build tolerance. During the tolerance-building phase, your skin may react with redness and dryness. However, this is a temporary stage, and once your skin adapts to the retinal, you will notice the first positive effects, such as an improved appearance.
Be patient and monitor your skin's response. If you notice dryness and redness, stop the treatment, wait until your skin calms down, and then resume using the serum less frequently. Gradually increase the frequency again until your skin adjusts.
You will notice an improvement in skin texture after about 5 weeks of use. However, it may take longer to see a reduction in wrinkles or discoloration.
When using retinal products, always apply a high SPF sunscreen in the morning.
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, do not use retinal. If you suffer from eczema or rosacea, consult a dermatologist before using retinal.
