1. Using Shaving Soap: First, wet your face (ideally after a shower), quickly place the brush under warm water, and lather the soap inside a bowl (without squeezing the bristles) until you get a thick, creamy foam. Apply it to your face in circular motions for a minute or two—this will soften and straighten the beard hairs sufficiently.

2. Using Shaving Cream: After preparing your face and wetting the brush with warm water, apply a small amount of cream onto the brush and lather your face for one to two minutes as described above. Some users prefer to apply a small amount of cream directly to each cheek using the tube, then emulsify it with the brush.
Maintenance

To maintain the quality of the brush for years to come, we recommend thoroughly rinsing it after each use to remove all traces of cream or soap and draining the water. Then, gently pat it dry with a towel before placing it bristles down on a suitable stand.
