Santi Burgas Aroma de Hormiguero Eau de Toilette

Aroma de Hormiguero is a bold attempt to capture the scent of an anthill in the forest. It is an imaginative depiction of the ants' inner sanctuary, their organized society, and a multitude of winding little tunnels. Aroma de Hormiguero is a complex, almost abstract perfume that combines derivatives of formic acid (formates... the term "formic acid" comes from the Latin word for "ant" - formica, as it is vital for the metabolism of these insects) with earthy mushroom notes. The accord is reminiscent of lichen, a favorite food of ants. Fresh fir balsam and greenery blend with vetiver, patchouli, and oakmoss, complemented by notes of geosmin and seaweed. The natural synergy of rich natural and synthetic components creates a unique fragrance.

The wooden cap is made from hazelnut wood, harvested during the annual pruning of fields near the Santi Burgas headquarters. Each cap is unique, as they are natural and no trees are cut down for their production.
