The fragrance Via Camerelle is named after the most famous, bustling shopping street of the enchanting island of Capri. According to legend, back in 1380, to celebrate the arrival of the queen, local monks lavishly adorned their monastery with flowers that grow on the island. Later, with the help of an alchemist, they created the first perfumes based on these flowers. Many centuries later, in 1948, a new abbot discovered the formula of the ancient perfume and attempted to recreate it. Thus, from this unique and romantic legend, the renowned perfume house Carthusia was established, captivating with its exquisite fragrances to this day.
