To ensure your baby can handle the flow, choose a nipple that matches your child's age and sucking rhythm.
Properly install the nipple on the bottle. The valve opening must align with the opening on the bottle itself. The nipple has a valve and a corresponding opening on the rim, which is screwed onto the bottle to secure the nipple in place.
Do not over-tighten the nipple holder, as it may prevent air from entering the bottle.
The numbers on the nipple indicate the flow rate: 1 is for slow flow, 2 for medium flow, and 3 for fast flow. The number facing the baby's nose determines the flow rate.
The angle of the nipple ensures the correct position of the baby's neck and comfort during feeding, so it should not be inverted.
The baby should not latch onto the nipple too tightly without releasing it, to prevent the bottle's pressure from pulling in the nipple and to allow the anti-colic valve to function properly.
If the baby tries to draw more liquid than the opening allows, causing the nipple to be pulled inward, replace the nipple in accordance with the sucking rhythm.
Give the baby time to adjust to the new bottle and nipple.
To prevent the anti-colic valve from being blocked, regularly clean the nipple at the valve area.
It is recommended to replace silicone nipples every 1-1.5 months or at the first signs of wear.
