The test should be conducted if you experience the following symptoms: a feeling of pressure on the bladder with an inability to urinate or the release of a very small amount of urine, a burning pain during urination, cloudy urine with an unpleasant odor, fever, malaise, or lower back pain.
Indications for the test include:
- lower abdominal pain;
- frequent urination;
- prior to vaccination.Urinary tract infections may be indicated by the presence of protein, blood, nitrites, and/or an elevated number of leukocytes in the urine. It's important not to underestimate urinary tract infections, as untreated or ignored infections can become chronic. The urinary tract infection test allows for early detection and appropriate treatment, thereby increasing the patient's chances of a quick and effective recovery.

Preparation: Prepare the individual components of the test kit.
Step 1. Collecting the urine sample: Use the plastic container included in the test kit to collect the urine. For testing, use a midstream urine sample, preferably collected in the morning after at least a 4-hour interval without urination. Ensure that the test is performed within one hour after collecting the sample.
Step 2: Preparing the test strip: Open the package and remove the test strip.
Step 3: Sample application: Dip the test strip into the urine sample. Make sure all test pads are immersed in the urine sample for approximately 1–2 seconds.
Step 4: Reading the result: Wait 2 minutes and read the result. The result should be read separately for each parameter.
