Dry Texture Hair Spray - Moroccanoil Dry Texture Spray
One star is too generous for this product. It is not lighter than a hairspray, it is exactly like a hairspray! It makes the hair stiff, and after just thirty minutes, there is no volume left, and curls look terrible with it. It mercilessly dries out the hair.
After using it three times, I am leaving a review. The spray is lighter than hairspray, but it still makes the hair feel coarse. The hairstyle holds for the first two hours, but when the curls unwind, it doesn't look great. It gives minimal volume in terms of length, but it provides good volume at the roots. If you use too much of it, your hair will look like it has hairspray on it. I don't know why there are so many good reviews everywhere, but personally, it doesn't hold my hair well. My hair has medium thickness, is porous, and curly.
I liked the spray. It reminds me of hair spray, but with very light hold. The sprayer is fine and gentle - you can adjust the amount of product sprayed by pressing as much as you need. Most sprays have too tight sprayers, which do not allow you to spray a very small amount of product if needed. Here everything is fine with that. I use this spray as a finishing touch. I style my hair, highlight strands - and then I fix them with the spray, so they become more textured and slightly fixed, which is pleasant in windy weather. Short hair definitely won't get unruly.
I really liked it. I compared it with the inebrya volume spray, but this one surpasses it. It actually gives volume!
Girls, if your hairstyle doesn't hold, then this spray will help! My hair is slightly porous, dyed but not bleached. My hair is thin. All hairstyles quickly fall apart. I used the spray and styled my hair with a Dyson styler. It worked wonders. Everything held up perfectly! Even though I was outside and the humidity was high.
The main thing is not to overdo it with this spray! Otherwise, your hair will feel dry to the touch and look dry externally.
I washed my hair, used the Matrix root volume spray, then I sprayed this spray on the length of my hair. I dried my hair, curled it, and let it cool down. Before going out, I also applied Tigi's After Party to prevent my hair from frizzing outside.
I purchased this product to secure my heatless curls because I saw that it works well for that purpose. And it turned out exactly as I expected. I have many other products that are great for fixing hairstyles with a straightener, but not for curling without heat. The hairstyle held up even in light rain. I did not use it for adding volume.
The hair is thick and heavy, the individual strands are of average thickness but stiff. It is usually difficult to achieve volume. When applied to the roots, it turned out decently. I wouldn't dare apply it to the length as it tends to dry out significantly and becomes difficult to comb afterwards. Maybe it's just me, but the button is horribly stiff. I have to press it with all my strength to spray it.
I didn't like it. My hair was dry, tangled, and lacked any shine. It was very unruly - that was the result of using it. I'm not sure what kind of styling they were talking about, but you can't even brush it after using it, it just slips. My hair type is fine. Maybe there is some added volume to the hair thanks to this spray. But the overall appearance is just terrible. Maybe spray formats of products are not suitable for me.
I liked it, applied it to the roots as the manufacturer suggests. I didn't notice any special effect, but if you apply it to the entire hair, after dividing it into 5-6 strands, the effect is great, it adds volume.
I started with the mini version and now I've returned for the full-sized one. This spray is excellent! I have thick but fine hair, and my roots always lay flat with no volume at all. This spray really helps to add root volume and it lasts a long time, without leaving any residue (like dry shampoo) or stickiness.
