Something in between. Definitely not a tasty candy or marshmallow. I don't know, maybe I was just unlucky, but the expiration date is fine. Overall, the primer does its job, nothing fantastic. It's a one-time purchase. It won't clog your pores, it's not a silicone-based foundation. Will it moisturize? No, it won't. It just slightly smooths without any significant changes. I think the fact that it applied smoothly is mainly due to the technique, not the product itself, which is the subject of this review. M.
