The pigmentation on the skin of the eyes will not be as vibrant as when swatched on the hands, for example. I can hardly see shade 401, while shade 403 gives a greenish tint. Also, they do not smudge easily when dried, so I hope they will last long after application.
I was disappointed with the pencils (I bought 402 and 403). The 402 is very dry, making it impossible to draw a precise line or define the lower eyelid. The 403 is slightly better and softer, but still quite transparent, with a dirty brown base that is visible most of the time. The green pigment itself is also quite transparent and only visible in bright light. This product is too weak for its price.
