Sun Cream - Holy Land Cosmetics Sunbrella SPF 36
Personally, it did not suit me and I did not like it. I have oily facial skin. It bleaches excessively and feels like it completely suffocates the skin. In my case, it caused the appearance of closed comedones, especially on the nose, after a few minutes of application, tiny droplets of dew formed. It was a complete disappointment.
Provides good sun protection. Slightly lightens the face, but also evens out the complexion. Comfortable for the skin and eyes (does not sting if applied closer). Applies easily. However, it is necessary to clean off the dried cream when opening, otherwise you will smudge that little lump. That is the only drawback for me, but I simply wipe it off with a sponge and then squeeze out the cream. I remove it using hydrophilic oil. Did not cause any breakouts for me.
It was interesting to read reviews about this cream. If I had never used it before, after reading the reviews, I definitely wouldn't have bought it. It was sitting in my drawer for a year and I decided to finish it before it expired. I've been using it every day for a month and I must say, I am very satisfied. No other cream has ever mattified my skin like this one. Besides being lightweight and non-sticky, it gives a fresh-faced look and provides sun protection. My face is very sensitive to cosmetic products and this cream suits me well. What's important is that it doesn't cause any new breakouts. On the contrary, I feel like it prevents them by mattifying my face. I agree that it does leave a slight white cast, but not as much as some people here claim. However, there is a perfect solution - in the morning, I mix it with my foundation and get a 2-in-1 product.
Terrible cream. It whitens a lot, and you have to diligently spread it to avoid turning your face into a white mask. When you rub it in, it rolls off, leaving a very thin layer that is not effective for protection. And if you apply more, it whitens the face so much that it becomes impossible not to notice. I really like the other products from this brand, but I will never buy the Holy Land sun protection again.
Good cream, I like it, we're already buying the second tube. It doesn't make the skin oily, as some people claimed, on the contrary, it mattifies, but at the same time it doesn't dry it out. Yes, it does lighten the face a bit, but I actually like this effect, it's like it evens out the skin tone. It feels comfortable to wear and provides good protection. Plus, it contains Zinc Oxide.
Yes, there are better creams out there, but they are also more expensive. Among everything I've tried recently, this is the most reasonable option.
I bought the cream from somewhere else, but I wanted to leave a review. I was unpleasantly disappointed with it. The cream sits on the face like a heavy white mask, and if you apply it in the right amount following all the rules, it just stays there and doesn't absorb at all! It's also very problematic to apply makeup on top of it.
On the positive side, it has a pleasant and subtle scent, and it provides sun protection.
But for such a price, I would never buy it again.
The product provides excellent sun protection for the skin. It is not sticky or greasy, and it slightly brightens the face, which is an advantage for me as I don't even need to wear makeup with it. The consistency is just right, not too liquid or too thick. It perfectly suits my combination skin that is fair in complexion.
I didn't buy it here. I have acne and post-acne, so I use acids and need protection. The cream is advertised as non-comedogenic!
But when I used it regularly at the sea, it clogged my pores severely!! Even though I applied it for a couple of hours and washed it off, then applied it again in the evening. So, it didn't stay on my skin for long, and I didn't apply a lot of layers. It clogged everything it could and caused huge subcutaneous comedones and red pimples. I had to deal with them for another 3 weeks. I do not recommend it!!!
I give it 3 stars only because it actually protects from the sun, smells nice, and feels light.
I am writing this review solely to inform customers not to waste their money on this cream. I did not buy it from a make-up store, but rather took a 30ml sample (of which I used 10ml) and completely forgot about this cream like a bad dream.
Upon first application, white spots and clumps of cream appeared all over my face (I thought maybe it was conflicting with my serum or toner). I tried it again the next day on freshly cleansed skin, and the same thing happened. I thought maybe I was using too much cream (I tried it five times to overcome this issue), but it didn't work. I strongly do not recommend this product, and I honestly don't even know who this cream could possibly work for (in my opinion, it is a waste of money on a low-quality product).
This sunscreen is amazing! It provides great protection, even with a high UV index of 8 or more, my face never got burnt. However, there are a few downsides. It is difficult to apply, leaving white patches and making my face appear a couple of shades lighter.
I have never tried a product like this before. One of the cosmetologists warned me about the cream's greasiness and the need to apply it with a beauty blender, but the benefits of the composition should outweigh its advantages.
And so, I took a risk. I have very oily skin that is damaged by chemical peels. The cream applies very thinly, like milk, and absorbs immediately. It doesn't make my skin greasy (although it doesn't mattify either) and doesn't leave any film or noticeable texture. It also slightly brightens the skin. It doesn't roll off, but I haven't been using makeup on a daily basis for over a year while I am treating my skin.
I can't imagine a sun cream that could be more pleasant. I am in love.
I have combination skin. This cream is truly the best for me. It mattifies and evens out the skin tone. Yes, it fades after about 4 hours and I can really feel the need to reapply. I give it a solid 4 rating and recommend it.
The sun protection of this product is excellent, but only if applied after swimming or if it stays on the face for more than 6 hours. Otherwise, it needs to be reapplied frequently. The downside is that it is not waterproof and has a thick consistency. On the positive side, it provides great protection if applied on time, and it leaves the face matte.
I would prefer the texture to be less dense. It seems like it clogs pores, giving the impression that all SPF products are like this.
The SPF didn't really perform well during my vacation, but I'm really pleased with how it enhances my skin tone. There are no traces of application, so in the winter and spring when my skin is dehydrated, it's beneficial to use a serum or moisturizer before applying the cream.
I ordered the 125ml size - haha, it'll last me forever! I really love this brand's cosmetics. I've tried their creams, lotions, and masks - everything suits me and works well! Regarding this cream, I still think it's more suitable for oily and combination skin types in urban areas. During my trip to Israel, it showed its properties: it disappeared after swimming in water and I felt the need to reapply it more often compared to other creams. Not waterproof!! It has a lightweight texture, absorbs quickly, doesn't leave white streaks, doesn't clog pores, doesn't add greasiness, instead, it mattifies slightly, and has minimal usage. But for those who want to take it to the beach, be prepared to apply it frequently - and you'll be 100% satisfied with the results.
Great cream! I'm buying it for the second time. For those with dry skin, you can apply aloe gel before using it. I definitely recommend it.
The cream indeed works, but it rolls off when in contact with saltwater! The proper application is to apply it once before sunbathing - protection is guaranteed :)
This is an excellent sunscreen product. It applies easily and, most importantly, it works! :) We managed to avoid sunburn even though we spent the whole day outdoors in the water. Of course, it needs to be reapplied several times a day.
I was recommended this sunscreen by a friend who is a dermatologist. She mentioned that it was on sale. I started using it in May and have been using it every day since, even under makeup. The 50ml tube is still halfway full, so it lasts a long time. It spreads easily and moisturizes the skin. My face has remained bright and clear for the past 4 months, even though I often go to the beach. It is definitely worth the money, and I will continue to buy it. It has become a must-have for me! The only people I wouldn't recommend it to are those with very dry skin, as I don't think it would be suitable for them.
