Reviews about Mary Kay Foundation Primer

Horrible foundation! It excessively dries out the skin - after just one use, you have to spend a long time trying to restore your skin's condition. What's the point?

This is an amazing makeup base! It provides a perfect application for foundation/BB cream, as well as concealer. I have been using this product for many years and I don't want to switch.

Terrible allergy, not recommended. The quality is simply awful, it's just full of chemicals.

I have very oily skin, and this primer is the first product that helped my face not to shine. Yes, the scent is unpleasant and it doesn't even out very well.

This product is useless. The smell is horrible, it doesn't even out or mattify the skin. It literally does nothing. When used as a base, any brand of foundation becomes a couple of shades darker. It also smudges the Mary Kay foundation. It's a terrible product. I didn't like it at all. I gave it to a friend, and she had the same experience.

I bought it but I don't use it. I specifically bought it to cover the outer layer of the epidermis and the secretion of subcutaneous fat along with it, as any base or primer is intended for this purpose. But unfortunately, Mary Kay, I really like it, but this primer does nothing to the skin except moisturize it. The pores remain wide open, and it seems like my face became even shinier due to increased oil secretion. Maybe it could work for dry skin, I don't know.

A solid 4 out of 5 rating. It lives up to its price. However, I wouldn't recommend it for professional use.
