It applies smoothly, but that's the only advantage. After application, it smudges and leaves marks on the eyelids, making it impossible to remove easily. It took the use of four different products to finally remove it.

On the positive side, it is a rich black color, soft, long-lasting, and has a good sharpener. However, it is not waterproof at all. It is simply a cheap, greasy pencil. It does not stay in place and immediately leaves a mark on the upper eyelid. I tried using it on a eyeshadow base, on eyeshadows, on a primer, without... It doesn't stay in place even for an hour. It easily washes off with water.

At the moment, I have this pencil and another one just as long with a sharpener, but from Ruby Rose. The difference becomes very obvious if you draw one line in the morning with this pencil and another one with Ruby Rose! The line drawn with this pencil stays intact until the evening, literally until I remove my makeup. It doesn't smudge, doesn't leave imprints on the top part of the eyelid, and the tail of the line remains sharp! However, with the Ruby Rose pencil, I had problems every 1-2 hours. It constantly smudged at the middle above the iris, so I had to wipe it off and touch up the faded area. Additionally, pigment from this pencil constantly accumulated in the outer corner of the eye, causing the tail of the line to lose its clarity. And that's not all - when sharpening the Ruby Rose pencil, the lead constantly broke. It was really difficult to sharpen, resulting in excessive waste. This pencil even managed to fall once, but it didn't break in the sharpener. By the way, my eyelid skin is very oily, and all cosmetics gather in the crease. Currently, I'm using the new Mark from Avon as a base, which I didn't like because it didn't fix the Ruby Rose pencil. I even wanted to give it away to someone. But it turns out that the problem is not with the base, as this pencil from Belle Jardin holds up perfectly!

I often go to sleep with "panda" eyes. I conducted an experiment - I drew a line on my hand and for a whole day, I washed dishes, washed my hands, bathed the baby, and so on; in the end, the line became lighter but did not smudge. It's great for only 12 UAH! And no need for eyeliner.
