Its texture is lightweight, but it doesn't have any special effect. This serum feels silicone-like, and after applying it, that silicony feeling stays with you almost until evening without being absorbed, creating a "greasy face" effect (with glitter).
You might say that it could be used as a makeup base? Yes, it could. It could have been. But my foundation slides off it. And the ones that don't slide off (super long-lasting) look awful because...

A separate "ugh" for the plastic bottle. Seriously? Paying this much for a serum in cheap plastic???

This serum is amazing. I am currently using the mini version of 10ml, but I will definitely be purchasing the full 100%. I am a 28-year-old brunette with freckles and an uneven complexion after pregnancy. This serum reduces freckles and evens out my skin tone. It is very economical to use, and has a pleasant and lightweight texture. In fact, during the summer, I don't even use foundation because this serum is enough for me. I highly recommend it.
