This shampoo, although intended for children, had a good discount, so I decided to switch from sulfate shampoos to a gentle children's shampoo. Or so I thought! The shampoo doesn't foam on the first wash, you need to rinse it off and apply it again for it to lather. But oh dear... after washing, my hair feels squeaky. It dries out my hair and something strange happened to my scalp. I started getting pimples and my head would itch occasionally. I tried it for a month and a half. By the way, my hair started getting greasy literally half a day after washing, and by the next day, I had to wash it again. If I washed it every other day, there would be so much grease on my head that I could fry an egg! I realized that my hair was not getting used to this shampoo. My friend developed a severe dandruff problem from it, and her hair also became dry. One positive aspect of the shampoo is its pleasant cotton-like scent that lingers. I went back to my regular shampoo. I still have three bottles of Johnson's baby shampoo, so I will use them as shower gel. I can't say for sure how it will perform on children's hair.
