Moisturizing Alginate Mask - Beauty Derm Face Mask
I categorically do not recommend this product. It extracts all the juices and dries out the skin. Although it was my first experience using such a mask, it quickly solidified before I could apply it. However, it had the potential to be sticky, so I thought of giving it another try before applying it to my face. Not only did it not spread evenly on my face due to its quick solidification, but it also fell off in chunks. After solidifying, it turned into clay in certain areas and was impossible to wash off. Fibers got stuck in my hair, and it even dried out my skin to the point where moisturizing essence was not enough (I always use it and it's usually sufficient), so I had to use a heavy cream. It even tightened my skin on my hands. The smell is repulsive; it reminded me of some cleaning powder. It creates a lot of waste as the mask pieces do not dissolve in water. I could overlook the inconvenience of using it if it had any positive effect, like soft skin as any moisturizing mask provides, but this mask damages the skin. It's better to use nothing at all than to use this!
The alginate masks are wonderful, leaving the skin soft and well-nourished (even for not-so-young skin). They have never caused any allergic reactions.
Gani masks are perfect for my extremely sensitive skin. After using them, my skin feels younger, firmer, and well-hydrated. Thank you.
I have used similar masks before, but this one is just terrible. I followed the instructions precisely, but the mask didn't even solidify after 30 minutes. It was very runny when applying. The smell of fish is present (although I understand that spirulina is the reason for it). When rinsing off, it feels like sand under my fingers. It was hard to wash off...
I bought this mask on sale. I was able to mix it according to the instructions and let it sit for the recommended time. Considering its price range, this mask is decent.
The mask is not alginate, but rather clay-based. The consistency, smell, and texture are all just like clay. I mixed it thickly, but it still runs down my face. It dries like clay and flakes off like clay. Basically, just buy clay for 15 UAH and don't overpay for this "alginate" clay. The dryness effect on the skin was achieved thanks to it.
Awful Mask
As soon as I diluted the mask with water, an unpleasant odor appeared (as if rotten garbage). I don't know if it's supposed to be that way, but I decided not to apply it on my face.
The worst mask I have ever tried, hands down. The color and consistency are absolutely repulsive, and it has zero effect.
At first glance, the mask resembles those used by cosmetologists for professional care. It dilutes well, and I diluted it with my eyes until it reached the consistency of thick cream. The mask applied perfectly, BUT removing it was unreal. It didn't become any denser, it remained the same as it was when applied. Therefore, I had to scrape it off my face and then wash it off. That's why I can't say whether this mask had any effect or not, as I had done a peel and applied cream after the mask. I bought all the alginate masks from this brand, and my first impression is not very good. However, I hope that it was either a bad batch or I diluted it incorrectly, which is unlikely. I will test all the alginate masks from this brand and decide whether I will continue to purchase them in the future.
It works very well, does not crumble. It lasts for 2 applications. Gives a pleasant cooling and moisturizing effect.
I also fell for the positive reviews and decided to purchase the mask. No previous products had ever caused an allergic reaction for me, but after using this mask, my entire face became covered in red patches that were terribly painful and itchy! I can't say exactly how long this horror lasted on my face because I immediately tried to soothe it with oils and applied makeup almost immediately after the procedure. By evening, the redness was no longer noticeable.
This mask is the best. It leaves the skin well-groomed, pores minimized, and complexion even. To avoid clumps, dilute it with warm water and apply immediately so that the consistency doesn't cool down. It is easy to apply and easy to remove (comes off in a film). The packs lasted for 4 uses. I will order more.
I didn't buy it here, but I'll give some advice. I mixed the mask very vigorously with a plastic fork and there were no lumps. It's a good mask.
Maybe it's just me, but I couldn't even achieve a proper consistency with this product. It ended up being lumpy and left my skin feeling dry.
Not a bad face mask. It truly moisturizes well, leaving the skin soft and smooth. The only challenge is mixing it without clumps.
If you apply the mask correctly - using the entire packet and not being stingy, it works perfectly and doesn't cause any redness. It shouldn't be applied in a thin layer, as it is difficult to remove. Why divide the mask? The price is already low. The effect is moisturizing, with a slight lifting effect. If you use it for a course of 8 treatments, I believe the effect will be significantly better. I will definitely repurchase.
Great mask! It has a powdery texture, like clay, but it mixes without clumps. It applies in a thick layer and the "before and after" effect is visible to the naked eye! I used 25g packs twice, it's not worth stretching it for more.
Makeup constantly bombards me with requests to leave reviews for products that I have ordered 2 or more times and have already written reviews for. But I didn't receive any email about the masks I ordered. Although there is something to say) Somewhere the algorithm is not set up correctly!
I must say, this is my first alginate mask, so I have nothing to compare it to. But for such a price, it's worth trying, at least to practice application without wasting an expensive product ;) I only applied it on my face, excluding the eyelids, and it lasted me for 4 uses. I applied it on cleansed skin without serum underneath. The effect: slightly reduced pores, slightly less oiliness (I have problem-free combination skin with a very oily T-zone), and there is also a moisturizing effect, although not strong and long-lasting. For such a price, it's okay to buy, but the effect is weak. I have already purchased more expensive options from French manufacturers. I will give them a try.
I have already used it twice, and I really like the result!
In order for everything to go smoothly, first of all, it is important not to be stingy - one packet is enough for 1-2 uses. If you try to stretch it for more applications, it will indeed dry out your skin - a full and thick layer is necessary! Secondly, it is necessary to mix it with something like a brush for mixing hair dye - this way, there will be no lumps and it will apply perfectly.
