Toning Hair Mask - Glori's Color Of Beauty Hair Mask
The mask works well, leaving my hair soft and shiny. However, as a toning product, it did not work for me, but that may be individual. I have red anthocyanin-dyed hair and I tried this mask to refresh the fading color, but the pigment barely took hold, even though I left it on for almost an hour. So, I went back to using Prestige, as it seems to have more pigment and it also tones gray hair better.
I bought the pearl-pink shade. I have light brown hair. I kept it on for 15 minutes and almost an hour, with a plastic bag and a cap - the shade barely showed up on the top of my head. I won't be buying it again.
I purchased the platinum blonde shade. My hair is already lightened. I followed the instructions and applied it to damp, towel-dried hair. I left it on for about an hour and then rinsed it off with water, but there was no result. I decided to try applying it to completely dry hair and left it on for an hour before rinsing it off with water. A very subtle shade appeared. However, I doubt that anything will remain after washing my hair with shampoo.
I purchased the platinum (5) shade. The golden blond somehow turned into a dark auburn color, with remnants of highlights and white streaks. Now it has a very unclear tone that is even difficult to describe. It may be a great "toy" for teenagers, but not suitable for adults who have to go to the office tomorrow.
I really liked the red tonic ❤️
The cool blonde turned out to be purple... This toning mask is difficult to wash out from the hair, you just need a deep cleansing shampoo.
I bought the blue and violet colors (blue in the photo), and they are absolutely amazing! The color remains vibrant throughout the hair and looks super bright when in the light. It fades gradually over a period of two weeks, without turning into a muddy color like other brands.
I love this tonic. I chose a bright pink color. I have dark porous hair, but this mask tones it even to a bright burgundy or even a rich pink color. The most intense shade lasts about a week and then slowly washes out. I like that this color goes towards pink and not red. Of course, like all tonics, it dyes everything - hands, scalp, bathtub, but everything washes off with the next shampoo and a sponge. I have been using it for a while and I highly recommend it! In the photos, you can see the before and after.
I bought a violet toner to tone previously bleached strands. I applied it to both my bleached and natural hair. The color only takes on the previously bleached hair, while the natural hair remains unchanged. In the photos, you can see the bleached strands, and then the toning dye got2b Bright Pastel 094 Violet Punk was applied to them. My daughter was not satisfied because the color turned out to be pink instead of violet. Then we applied the Glori's Color Of Beauty Hair Mask to the pink strands. My daughter is happy now as the color turned out to be a rich violet. It washes out quickly, after 3-4 times. After using the mask, the hair is well-nourished.
It's a pity that the minimum rating is one, rather than zero. I was swayed by the good reviews and ended up extremely disappointed. I dye my hair red, and after 3-4 weeks, I always use a tinting balm that touches up my roots and refreshes the color. I've always had success with that. I decided to try this balm, and the smell is actually pleasant, but the effect is nonexistent. It didn't refresh the color or touch my roots, but it did stain my skin and nails. So, for 100 hryvnias, you'll get yellow nails, red skin on your scalp, and hair that is soft but lacking any shade. I'm going back to my old, albeit stinky, tonic that at least has an effect.
I used to use a toning mask from Estel before, and the effect is the same. The hair feels soft, and the mask with a pink shimmer (pearlescent pink color) sits well on bleached hair. It also neutralizes any yellowness. Overall, I am satisfied and will definitely buy it again.
I'm trying this hair mask for the first time and I must say it's amazing. It makes my hair soft, maintains the color beautifully, and lasts for a long time. I really like it.
The red color completely fades after 6 washes. I kept it on clean, dry hair for about half an hour. I applied it with my hands (wearing gloves), but it comes off well from the skin. It doesn't stain an acrylic bathtub. The photo was taken immediately after dyeing. I'm looking for something more long-lasting, but I doubt I'll find it - a long-lasting red is only possible with dye.
I got the orange one and I really liked it! I received the fiery red shade that I wanted. However, my base was already lightened with the iroiro pigment remover. So, as expected, it will only take on a lightened base. And as stated on the packaging - it will make you vibrant for two weeks - and it does, after the first wash, the color is not as bright anymore. So, I believe this is the perfect option to try a new color without getting the pigment stuck!
The blue color on the lightened hair came out very nice and vibrant blue, but it didn't take well on the regrowth with light brown roots and washed out after 2 times. On the lightened length, however, it doesn't wash out even after more than 12 washes, and it's starting to get a bit boring. It doesn't fade to green, which is good.
If someone else has used this dye, please let me know if you were able to completely wash it out or at least to a light blue on the lightened hair? Because I want to lighten my hair already, but I'm waiting to see if it will fade a bit more.
I am satisfied! After using this mask, my hair has a pleasant color, shines, and is easy to comb. I prefer this mask over the Fanola brand. The color gradually fades over time. The only downside is that it doesn't last long on my gray hair (after the first wash, my gray hairs became more visible). I used the chestnut shade on my dyed tobacco color, and I liked the result much more than with regular hair dye.
I read reviews and decided to buy it. I am a dyed blonde and had previously lightened my hair. I thought of adding a pink shade, but it didn't turn out as expected. Instead, it gave me various shades of pink, white, and violet. I left it on for 20 minutes and combed it through the entire length. The result was horrible. As I was later told, it might be due to the pigment in my hair. Well, now I understand, I won't be doing any more experiments for just 100 hryvnias.
I didn't buy it here, but the mask is wonderful. I mix it with conditioner, and over time it washes out completely. I used to use Tonic before, and it was difficult to wash out. I will definitely buy from this company again.
I had the orange, pink, and purple ones. The main color was orange, and I added a little bit of purple and pink on the eyelid. The color mixture resembled a cherry color. The photo was taken after the second wash. Initially, it was more red.
This product is absolutely amazing! It is the best tinted balm in the shade "blue" and stands out among others on the market due to its affordable price and high quality. Unlike other balms, it washes out to a beautiful violet-blue color, not a murky green swamp-like shade. The shade of blue is absolutely fantastic. I highly recommend it! It is extremely satisfying and will leave you very, very happy!
The color doesn't wash out at all!
It has become duller, but it doesn't completely wash out.
I am disappointed, my hair is ruined. It feels like I bought paint instead of a toner...
I am delighted with the color! It is very convenient to apply, the paint/balm is thick, and the dispenser works well. You need to put in some effort to cover everything evenly, as some people have mentioned. However, the violet color has a hint of blue and is quite dark. I left it on for about 20-30 minutes.
I was expecting something better, I thought it would provide a brighter color. It lasted for about 40 minutes, but it didn't work well on brown hair.
The tonic from "TONIKA" is the one I like the most. It gives a brighter result.
I tried this chestnut mask, and it's not bad. However, it's just average in terms of effectiveness. Don't expect any "wow" results from it. But considering its price, it's worth a try.
I am very dissatisfied with what I received. The original product was supposed to come in a bottle with a dispenser and cardboard packaging. However, I received it without the cardboard packaging, and the dispenser was taped with Scotch tape. I don't understand, has someone already used this mask? Is it not new? If the mask looks used, the buyer should receive a discount instead of purchasing a used item at full price.
I tried the bright pink (flamingo) shade, while my friend got the blue one. Both colors are incredibly vibrant! I applied it literally, washed it off immediately, and it turned into a fuchsia shade. It's great, but for some people, this might be a downside. By the way, when you mix these two shades, you get a gorgeous lilac color, but you need to use about 4 parts pink to 1 part blue because the blue is really intense and almost toxic.
Make sure to wear gloves because you'll be washing your hands for a long time afterwards. It also stains the bathtub, but it's much easier to remove from acrylic, just use a sponge and soap, the key is to do it right away.
For those who want to try it but are afraid it will be too much, I recommend mixing it with a regular hair mask, it gives a softer tone.
It takes a while to wash out, but overall it's good. And yes, it's much gentler than a toner, the pigment doesn't stick stubbornly.
It really stains! It stains everything! Including the bathtub and tiles, even if you rinse it off after a second, a spot remains that is nearly impossible to remove.
It doesn't just tint the hair, it actually dyes it, and try washing off this purple color! It dyed unevenly, even though I combed it through. After 5 thorough hair washes, I tried my best to get rid of this nightmare, but there are strands that didn't wash out at all. In the end, my expensive balayage is ruined, with one strand purple and the other yellow.
I really hope that after another 5 washes, there won't be a trace left of this "toning."
The shade "Pearl Pink" is not pink at all and has no scent. The color of the mask is a bright purple with no hint of pink pigment. I left it on my light highlighted hair for 30 minutes, but there was no effect or toning noticed. It was a waste of money. I do not recommend this product.
The chestnut shade on blonde gave a grey-green color.
Yusupova Naina, the "reply" button does not work. I held it for about 10-15 minutes to reduce yellowness, but it does not dry my hair.
I was pleasantly surprised by the Tonic, it was superb! I kept it on for 30 minutes.
I bought a black one, but it turned green!
I am buying it for the second time. I wrote a review before. Now I am dying my hair in copper, I bought the orange color. I like it. Once a week, I apply it as instructed, like a mask. It refreshes the color, and I can go a long time without coloring my hair. About three months. I have a short haircut and no gray hair. My hair is soft after using the mask. No complaints. I will continue to buy it.
The mask is not bad. However, after leaving it on my dark brown hair for 30 minutes, as instructed, I didn't achieve the desired red aloe color. Instead, it turned out to be more of a redwood shade. I will attach a photo before coloring, a photo of my wet hair after coloring, and a photo of my hair after it has been dried.
I didn't buy it for makeup purposes, but I have been using shade no. 5 for a long time. I have been searching for a gray-toned tonic or tinted balm for a very long time, and this shade is perfectly gray! I highly recommend it.
I didn't buy it here, it was an impulsive purchase and I don't regret it. I'm not sure about its drying capabilities, but after using it my hair is very soft and voluminous. Perhaps it's due to the different lines available, I chose the one with bright shades. And surprisingly, the color turned out to be gray instead of the lavender shown on the box. However, the reviews mentioned that it was also gray, so my expectations were met. I first tried it on test strands to understand how it wears and how it washes out (like in green, for example), but everything turned out well.
I bought the chestnut shade to touch up my hair roots which had grown out. I am very satisfied with the result: the roots were perfectly covered, no signs of gray hair, and the color turned out to be closer to a natural dark blonde, which looks very beautiful.
I regularly use the shade "cool blonde" to eliminate yellow tones. It effectively removes the overall yellowness without giving an unwanted purple or gray tint. However, it tends to dry out my hair. I use it in combination with the reconstructing ampoule by Dixon.
I tried two colors at different times: purple and blue. It is definitely a great alternative to many direct dyes. The pigment doesn't get stuck in the hair as much. The color is intense and shows up brightly on hair that is not very lightened. It lasts for about two weeks (a friend of mine had it on normally lightened hair and it was nuclear and lasted even longer). The blue is very intense (when I mixed it with purple, the end result was still blue=///). As for the negatives of the dye - because it washes out quite strongly, it can stain your pillow if you go to bed with wet hair. Well, and unfortunately, the color options are quite limited. Overall, I would recommend it to those who want to try bright coloring for a short period of time.
Awful mask. The color doesn't take well on lightened hair, so you have to leave it on for more than 30-40 minutes. It dries out your hair and washes out in one go.
I advocate for the pearl-pink color. Those who claim it didn't work probably expected a color exactly like the one on the picture. I have tried many pearl-pink toning masks and realized that this color is simply depicted as pearl's color (I hope you can imagine how pearl looks like), which is difficult to convey accurately in a picture. Additionally, the hair should be fairly light, at least a level 9. The quality of the hair is average, a bit stiff. However, it completely removes any yellow tones and the shade matches the advertised one.
The pearly-pink mask did not provide any shade. It does not eliminate yellowing on highlighted hair. It was a waste of money thrown to the wind.
Everyone's hair is different, but oh my goodness, ladies! I am ecstatic! My hair looks like it's been treated at a fancy salon - soft, shiny, and full of life! And let's talk about the color - I chose copper because I'm a natural redhead. It didn't fully cover my dark roots, but that's actually a good thing because it gives my long hair a fresh and vibrant look! I will definitely be buying more of this product, it deserves a spot on my shelf for sure!
I didn't buy it here, but this mask is so amazing that even the "pearl pink" shade didn't take on freshly dyed light brown hair for 30 minutes. There was absolutely no effect, just a waste of money.
This mask is amazing! The hair quality is excellent. The shade (pearl) nicely neutralizes blonde yellowing.
This is the most perfect cool violet shade!
It's a pity that it tends to grab in patches. It requires a very specific base. I was hoping for a transformation without much effort)))
Does anyone know if there will be a cumulative effect on the hair if I regularly tone it?
P.S. It can be removed from the skin with a waterproof makeup remover.
I opted for the pink shade despite having light brown hair. I took a risk, and the result turned out to be slightly multicolored, but I should have expected that.
I chose the pearl-pink shade, which is absolutely stunning. I have brown highlighted hair and it blended perfectly, eliminating any yellow tones. The result is a unique and beautiful color. I am very pleased with it.
I got the pink one and I'm very satisfied. I have a natural warm medium-brown color with lighter ends. It applies well on natural hair, giving a soft and subtle shade, slightly darkening my tone. On bleached hair, it gives a vibrant color. The pink shade is beautiful, a rich flamingo color, not like Barbie.
As stated on the packaging, it really doesn't change color when washed out. It gradually fades, taking about 3-5 washes on natural hair, and I haven't washed it out completely on bleached hair yet. I think I need to use a deep cleansing shampoo for that purpose.
It doesn't damage my hair, on the contrary, it has the effect of a good conditioner. Between regular coloring sessions, I mix it with my regular conditioner and leave it on for a couple of minutes to maintain the color.
The dispenser is convenient, and a little goes a long way. I have been using it on medium-length hair for a month and a half, and it still hasn't run out.
The only downside is that it stains the skin, but it easily washes off with soap. It's important to wear gloves and apply oil or a thick cream on the ears and hairline before coloring. It doesn't leave any stains on towels, in the shower, or on tiles.
The price is a huge plus.
The mask is simply excellent. I've bought it in almost every color. It takes care of my hair, moisturizes it, and doesn't dry it out. I highly recommend it.
