I ordered this product solely because of the note of cloves and the positive reviews. However, I cannot detect any trace of cloves at all, only orange, mandarin, and Indian incense sticks. I can't even imagine where to wear it, it's definitely more suitable for older men and reminds me of a cologne my grandfather would wear. It's not necessarily heavy, unlikely to suffocate anyone, but it's definitely peculiar.

The longevity is simply astonishing, as it can be felt on the skin for up to 2 days, although very close to the skin. The sillage is noticeable for the first 5-6 hours. The price of this magnificent chypre sample is simply laughable. It is a perfume from the good old French school, and I will definitely try other fragrances from this brand.
