The milk is more like a cream, with a rather dense consistency. It is slightly inconvenient to remove with cosmetic wipes, which is a downside. The scent is quite strong, something gingery-citrusy. I have been using Clarins milk for many years, which has a very delicate scent. This milk, on the other hand, is refreshing and even seems to have a cooling effect. It's a matter of personal preference. Overall, I am satisfied with the cleansing.
