Reviews about Lorenzo Villoresi Theseus

To be honest, the smell is just average... It's something in between two old, even elderly fragrances: Hermes Caleche and Chanel #5. There's nothing special about it, it's so overpowering that it's almost nauseating. I couldn't detect any of the individual notes... I'll go back to Sisleys and Molecules. If you're under 70, I don't recommend this perfume.

Thank you, I'm glad that the reviews were helpful, I tried my best :) You are right, Teint de Neige was definitely the most liked, followed by, although it may seem strange, this fragrance, and after that, although quite inconsistently, Erbamatte - they seemed the most interesting and unusual, unlike anything else. Another interesting one is Aura Maris, but it's so delicate, like a gentle breeze. I liked how the lemon came in, softly and transparently, but only for a short while. The gentlest lemon among all the lemons I've heard of in fragrances before. The other creations by Lorenzo Villoresi either resemble something I've heard before or are "twins" in pairs. I still have about 8 of his fragrances to test, but for now, I'll probably take a break. I'll look forward to your reviews, maybe I missed a masterpiece. I also got a sample of Maurer & Wirtz 4711 Acqua Colonia Juniper Berry & Marjoram - I really liked it, even though it's supposedly masculine. It reminds me a lot of Lorenzo Villoresi's style, I just need to wait for the drydown, it's very lovely. I haven't tried the other fragrances from this brand yet, but the names and ingredients (not to mention the price) are very intriguing. I left a review, it seems like I left one here too :).

Yes, and in the base, it strongly resembles Eau Belle D'Azzaro, which also has a noticeable cypress and cedar scent. It seems like Eau Belle D'Azzaro was reissued, but unfortunately, it is not imported to us. It's a shame because it was a very pleasant and fresh fragrance for women, without these initial acrobatics from Lorenzo Villoresi. Generally, I prefer fragrances that don't require waiting - just "put it on" and you can immediately go out among people.

The fragrance is definitely more masculine, but my mother, a big fan of Fahrenheit Dior (meaning she wears it herself), liked it the most out of all the scents from this brand. It starts off quite extravagant, I hear dill with cardamom :) At this moment, it is the most "manly", after which it becomes softer and warmer, acquiring a floral component and becoming much closer to unisex. In general, it is better to try the perfume before buying it, but it is beautifully crafted and definitely not ordinary.
