Bun Tool - Invisibobble Bunstar Ice Ice Lady
I am completely disappointed. My hair is slightly below shoulder length, medium thickness, and slightly wavy. I bought it, tried it, and abandoned it. After some time, I decided to give it a second chance, I tried it around 20 times - with no results. Just a slight head shake and everything falls apart.
This is simply the best tattoo in the world! I'm glad I bought extra, fearing that it might not be available in the future (like now))). But I still need more! So, I'm eagerly awaiting its return.
I really liked it. I "made friends" with the hairpin on the very first day, although not on the first try. It seems like no one recommended anything similar, maybe my method will work for someone: I push a large lower loop under the actual bun, rotating it essentially under the hair close to the scalp, and the smaller (upper) loop goes into the bun itself and holds it. This way, nothing sticks out and it stays securely all day at home (while twisting my hair to one side and twisting the hairpin in the opposite direction, as instructed). I don't know how, but it works on my long straight smooth hair of average thickness, even though normally no hairstyle stays in place for me. It doesn't pull or break my hair, my head doesn't hurt, it's simply fantastic. It would be great if it also held up overnight, but that's already in the realm of fantasy))
My hair doesn't hold well.
Money wasted in vain.
I have thin hair and even my hair doesn't hold. Don't waste money on this thing. With a regular elastic band, you can make a better bun.
What the manufacturers were thinking is unclear...
Unfortunately, it does not hold my hair((
This product is not suitable for long, thick hair. It does not hold anything at all, regardless of whether you twist it clockwise or counterclockwise, or even if you try two twists simultaneously. It's a waste of money.
After trying these hairpins, I couldn't resist keeping them. At first, it seems impossible to twist something with them, but once you figure out how to do it correctly, you realize it's love.
I have long and liquid hair. I wear this hairpin around the house, sleep with it, and use it to secure my hair when I have to travel far. It's very convenient with it.
I lost my first ones, so I ordered them again. I highly recommend giving them a try.
Favorite hair clip! The most convenient one. Order two packs right away.
It took me some time to become friends with these hairpins, and sometimes I still struggle to get it right on the first try, but I really liked them. I have thin, blonde hair that reaches my shoulders, and I can make two buns with them.
Even with just one hairpin and some spirals, I can secure one bun. What I liked is that when I use these hairpins, there is not as much tension as with hair ties, and my hair roots don't hurt (and I have very sensitive skin in that area. I can't walk for a long time).
To make the buns, I recommend checking the instructions online or following this advice: when making a ponytail for the bun, roll it up like a spiral twist instead of just wrapping the ponytail around (there's a high chance it won't work that way), and once it's twisted, fix it well and thread the sharp end inside the bun and twist it (it's similar to how Eliza F does it at the bottom of the bun).
This is an excellent and convenient hairpin for playing, it holds perfectly.
I am absolutely amazed by this innovative hair clip! It is so incredible that I am literally running out of words to express my excitement! This hair clip has completely blown my mind!
The hair clip is excellent. For the first time in my life, I wore it for half a day and it didn't break or cause a headache! It's a very necessary purchase.
At first, it seemed like a waste of money, but I didn't give up right away thanks to the reviews here. After all, this little thing is cool and doesn't deserve low ratings just because you need to get used to it. I have light hair slightly below my shoulders, not thick. I figured out a couple of "life hacks":
1. Twist the barrel counterclockwise - the "rotation" of the barrel and the hairpin compensates for each other and the hairpin holds a little better.
2. Try to make sure the hairpin goes through all the twists of the barrel and makes a full 360-degree turn - that's when I feel like it "locks in".
I tamed it!)))) Yes, I didn't succeed the first time) well, I did succeed the first time, but the next - umpteen - no) and from my experience, I can explain the instructions. You need to press the entire bundle tightly to your head, not just hold the tip of the hair, and twist the hairpin not towards the head, but slightly angled towards the bundle. That's when it perfectly captures the hair and holds it securely! I walk around with the bun for half a day - and everything stays in place! It stays so well that I think it will last the whole day. Sports, of course, probably won't hold up, but half a day at home with a small child is also a serious crash test)) I'm glad I finally decided to buy it! Thanks, makeup!
I have been looking for a way to tie up my hair without pulling on it or hurting my scalp from the pins and such. My hair is of medium length, thick, straight, and dyed. I wasn't able to tie up my hair properly on the first or even the tenth try. But eventually I got the hang of it after practicing.
Now I can confidently say that this hair clip is really cool. I can wear my hair up all day (at home or even outside) without any headaches. Of course, this hairstyle won't withstand sports, running, or wind. But perhaps that's the beauty of it, that it's not tightly secured. In general, go for it, don't be afraid, if you have enough skillful hands.
It is a good idea, but in my opinion, it is not suitable for everyone. Personally, it did not work for me. My hair is natural, completely smooth, and just below shoulder length. The hairpin is too small for my bun, it is not enough to hold the entire volume. Even if I try really hard and manage to twist it, the bun is very weak and immediately falls apart. It would probably work better on slightly shorter, curly, or styled hair.
It can be difficult to adjust to using this hair clip, but once you've managed to secure your hair in a bun, it holds pretty well and looks nice.
I really liked them. I managed to create a nice hairstyle on my first try. The fact that they are small in size is actually a plus. If they were larger, they would stick out from my hair. It's no wonder they are quickly sold out - these hairpins are excellent.
The hair clip is absolutely terrible, it doesn't hold thick hair at all. It is not designed for dense and long hair, unfortunately, this is not mentioned in the description. I am very dissatisfied with the purchased product, and the worst part is that it cannot be returned! Please be attentive when buying something!
This is just love! It has become indispensable for me! However, keep in mind that this hairpin is not for wedding hairstyles, but simply for keeping your hair out of the way and preventing headaches from those elastic bands. I use it at home just to put my hair up in a bun. I managed to secure it on the first try, just like with an elastic band, but twisting the hairpin is very easy. But for those who are concerned, there is a detailed instruction with pictures in the package. But! Girls, what a joy to have your hair up ALL day without it pulling, tangling, or hurting your scalp and HEADACHE FREE! It securely holds the hair so gently, it's just amazing! But, I repeat, the bun may not look perfectly neat and slightly messy, but personally, I don't need anything else! It doesn't break or tangle the hair (it's simply impossible), in short, I have once again been convinced of the awesomeness of this brand! I am truly a fan! I will definitely buy more of these hairpins for myself, so I have them in every corner and every bag. By the way, there are 2 hairpins in the package, which is also great.
Well, here it is. I've been using it for another week now and I still can't figure out how to twist it properly. It only works every other time, especially when my hair is very smooth. But it definitely has its advantages: it doesn't pull on the hair. And when you make a high bun, your scalp doesn't get as tired as it usually does. And in theory, it's supposed to be very quick to use)))
But girls, those who are planning to buy it, please note that it's not a hairpin for neat ballet buns. It's more suitable for semi-relaxed buns.
And as always, the price of the makeup "delights" me :'(. You buy it thinking you're getting a discount, but after some time you realize that you actually overpaid a lot.
